What’s On

When:   Saturday 5th of July 2025, 9.30am – 5pm    Sunday  6th of July 2025, 9.30am – 4pm.

 Ty Ucha Farm, Pen Y Cefn, Caerwys, Flintshire, CH7 5BQ. Outdoor field event with marquees around the site.

Admission: Adult £10.00, Children under 16 go free. Payment on arrival. Card payments accepted. Free Parking.

Disabled access: Blue badge holders parking will be available near the entrance to the show, and disabled access Portaloo and hardstanding toilets available on site. If you require full time carer assistance please email the carer identification and supporting evidence document in advance to valevintagemachineryclub@gmail.com and a discounted entry ticket will be provided.

 If the weather is very wet there may be areas of the show that become muddy causing difficulty for wheelchair access, speak to a steward in a hi-vis if you require assistance.

Public Camping: Available. £40.00 for the weekend, 8m x 8m, may park vehicle with tent. Exhibitors camp free (please see the forms section for booking camping). Live evening entertainment and licensed bar.

Catering: There will be a range of food services situated around the show as well as a main food area including hot and cold food, options for vegetarians and vegans  as well as a licensed bar.

Craft Marquee: The show features a large craft marquee, and visitors will find that there is a generous variety of stalls to peruse with displays of quality crafted goods for example (but not limited to), cards, jewellery, knitwear, soaps,  candles, bags, toys, turned wood and gifts from many local small businesses and  hobby crafters. Why not take a look around and shop for different and unusual items to take home, chat with the friendly vendors about their crafts and sources.

Show arena: Don’t miss the arena timetable to see the tractor parade and competitions, horse parade, steam engine games, classic car parade and historic enactments.

Working exhibits: there are many vintage working exhibits around the showgrounds demonstrating the complexity of heritage duties completed by vintage machinery .

Traders: There will be a variety of traders and charities selling a range of products, services and some food booths selling much loved nibbles. Payment option is the responsibility of the individual trade stand.

Horticulture, tools and machinery: Displays of tools and machinery which have been preserved by their current owners to showcase how gardening was done in the past, be it the humble kitchen garden to the larger parks and gardens of stately homes.

Awning displays: Sharing their love for classical vintage collections and model displays.

Anything else?: Street organs, music bands, singers, military displays, commercial vehicles, vintage motorcycles and pedal cycles, chainsaw sculptures and so much more…

Children’s area: There will be a fun fair, trade stands for children, Fun dog show to get involved with and fun displays within the arena throughout the day to keep their minds busy. Due to the show containing moveable vehicles and machinery we must insist that children are supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

First Aid and lost child point : There will be a fully qualified and equipped medical team on the show grounds, DBS checked as well as many of the show stewards  hold first aid qualifications for out of show hours.

Dogs: All dogs that are kept on a short leash  and kept under control by the owner/handler are welcome to visit the vale vintage machinery show. XL bully dogs must be muzzled by law.

Owner/ handler must collect and dispose of your dog’s faecal matter for basic courtesy and health & safety of others at the show. Owners/handlers caught not picking up after their dog may be asked to leave the grounds with immediate effect.

Dog handlers/owners must be aware of the show arena agenda as there may be some loud vehicle displays/vintage enactments that your dog may find distressing, information will be given at the entry gate. Qualified registered veterinary nurse is available  at the show for first aid.  Fun dog show will be run by a chosen canine rescue charity, rosettes to be won and all proceeds donated go to the dog rescue charity.

Security: We have a highly reputable security team to secure and monitor the event grounds out of hours. Please ensure all exhibitors/show steward volunteers are wearing event passes to avoid being removed from the premises.
